HOW TO INSTALL ANDROID 4.1 on AT&T pantech 9070

PREREQUISITE:

-charge the phone well to be at least 70% of battery

-you must have rooted your phone and installed clockworkmod recover.

if not, do that here

-download the android 4.1 rom here and put it on the root folder of ur sd card( root folder is just the sd card. i.e not in any folder, just in the card)

-download google apps for 4.1 here also put in the root folder of your sd card..

PRECEDURE:

-reboot your device into recovery mode by holding down the power and volume down button

-use the volume keys to navigate options and the power key to enter any

-wipe data/factory reset

-clear cache partition

-go to

-now take install zip from sdcard

-navigate to select the file u put in the sd card

-proceed to install it

-repeat the procedure for gapps

-reboot ur device and then u have android jellybean 4.1 running on your AT&T panctech.

Setup Pantech Burst drivers on Windows computer
1-Download and install Pantech PC Suite
2-Launch Pantech PC Suite and update if it asks. When PC Suite is fully updated, plug phone into computer until device is recognized.

Alternative: Download and Install Drivers with [USB_Driver]PSMN_Install_V1_1_0_0.exe (Mirror)
*Note: I have not used this method so I am not sure if it works

Setup Windows computer so you can send commands to phone
1-Download and install Java Development Kit from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/ja...ads/index.html
2-Download and install Android SDK from developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
2-Start SDK Manager and check the box next to "Android SDK Platform-tools” and install package.

Setup phone so it can receive commands from computer
Go to settings > Applications > Development > turn on USB Debugging

FOR GINGERBREAD
Root phone
1-Download prestoroot.img (mirror) and save it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools”
2-Now open your command line and navigate it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools” folder
3-Run the following command

adb reboot bootloader

4-When the bootloader screen shows up on your phone then wait a few seconds to make sure your phone is recognized by the computer then run the following command

5-After phone reboots itself, shut the phone down and turn it back on again.
6-When the phone boots up this time, download Superuser from Google Play

Install ClockWorkMod
1-Download cwm-5.0.2.7-presto.img (mirror) and save it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools”
2-Now open your command line and navigate it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools” folder
3-Run the following command

PREREQUISITE:

connectify runs on from WINDOWS XP SP3 through to windows 8.

HOW TO INSTALL:

-Extract the file just downloaded and install it following the onscreen instructions on the installer

-copy the file ConnectifyPatch.exe to the application directory i.e the place where u installed the connectify.

-Run patch to execute patching

-Start connectify. Its logo will apperar on the tray of the taskbar near the time .

-right click its logo on the tray and hit enter liscence

-use one liscence generated by the keygen or any one from the serials.txt

-RESTART COMPUTER.

HOW TO USE.

-open connecttify and fill in the required info.

-check to see that the field for internet sharing is set to automatic.

-once u are connected to internet on your computer, connectify will share it via wi-fi and u will capture it on ur phone.

-Open the wi-fi network on ur phone and put the password dat was made by connectify and start browsing wi-fi

How to Update Samsung Galaxy S3 to Android 4.3 JB CM 10.2

CyanogenMod team is working on releasing its official version of CM10 based on Android 4.3; but till they do it, why not indulge in some unofficial Android 4.3 beauty with the help of unofficial CM 10.2 test build. This comprehensive guide will help you flashing the unofficial CyanogenMod 10.2 test build based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for Samsung Galaxy S3.

Prerequisites to update Samsung Galaxy S3 to Android 4.3 JB CM 10.2 custom firmware:

Backup any important data from your Samsung Galaxy S3 as a complete wipe will be required during the flashing process.
Enable USB debugging option on your device: Settings > Development Options > USB debugging.
Your device must be rooted, unlocked and installed with a recovery tool like TWRP or CWM.
Your device must be charged to at least 60% of power.

Note: the tutorial is only focused on Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300, kindly do not try this tutorial on other Android or Samsung devices. This guide would be particularly helpful for those who want try the AOSP ROM to see the new features of Android 4.3 JB.

Requirements:

-your device must be rooted

-clock work mod recovery must be installed

-at least 70% batter

- download the CM 10.2 unofficial ROM zip for SGS3 from here and Gapps for android 4.2 from any source and save it on your computer. Do not extract the contents.

PROCEDURE:

-Connect Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 to your computer using a USB -cable and copy the zip files to your phone’s internal memory card.
-Disconnect the USB cord and power off your Galaxy S3.
-Boot it into recovery mode.
-Perform a Nandroid backup of your current OS; important step to revert back to current state. Go to Backup > backup and restore on CWM.
-Wipe data: from CWM recovery mode, select wipe data / factory reset and confirm the process. You can skip this step if you are on a CM 10.1 ROM.
-Now, to flash the CM 10.2 unofficial custom ROM, select install zip from sdcard followed by choose zip from sdcard.
-Locate the CM 10.2 Android 4.3 zip and confirm the flashing process.
-When done, follow the above step for GApps package installation.
-Return back to main recovery menu and reboot your S3 I9300 into normal mode.
-First boot takes a good 5 minutes so kindly be patient.

-Awesome! You have successfully flashed the unofficial CM 10.2 custom firmware based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on your Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300.

congratulations, your S3 is now one step more advance than the S4.

First time installing CyanogenMod 10.1 to your Galaxy S III, or coming from another ROM:

The samsung Galaxy S3 come with android 4.0.4 wich is upgradable to 4.1.2

But we want our phone to have 4.2.1 jelly bean and 4.2.3 if possible .

This procedure will help u to install android 4.2.1 jelly bean on your device.

REQUIRMENTS:

-Make sure your battery is at least 70%

-Make sure you're running a proper working clock work mod recovery

-Make sure you have rooted your phone here

PROCEDURE

- Copy GApps and CM10.1 ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery( hold home button and power button)
-select wipe cache partition and then wipe it

-select factory reset and do it

-go to advance and wipe dalvik cache

- if u had backed up you rom with Titanium backup for example, Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
- Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!

Samsung Galaxy S3: How to Install ClockWorkMod Recovery

f you are a person who wants to do more with the Samsung Galaxy S3, then you may need to install ClockWorkMod or CWM recovery on your phone. Why do you need it? Yes, because by installing it you will be able to download and install new custom ROMs on your phone. You can also flashing new ROMs if you have installed it. As a note after you install it you have to root your phone so you can use CWM recovery in full.

n addition to the benefits mentioned above, with the CWM recovery you can also use it to backup your entire ROMs on your phone. However, the results of your backup may be very large, at least 1GB to backup entire ROMs on the Samsung Galaxy with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

How to Install CWM Recovery on Samsung Galaxy S3?
As written on android.gs.com, all you need to do is following the steps below:

Connect your phone to your computer using the Samsung Galaxy S3 micro USB cable.
Download the Odin3 v1.85 on your computer. This application will be used to flash the CWM Recovery.
Download CWM Recovery file to your computer.
Extract both .zip file. Odin will extract the files into its own folder, while unzipped CWM Recovery going to be .tar file And do not extract it.
Disconnect your phone from your computer.
launch Odin3 executable.
In Odin click PDA button then select the 'CF-SGS3-CWM-vX.X-vY.Y.tar' file from your computer files.
Turn off your phone.
Boot your phone into download mode by holding Power button, Home button and volume down button simultaneously. After that download mode logo will appear and then you will be prompted to press any other button, so press it.
Reconnect your phone to the computer.
Go to Odin and make sure "repartition" option is unchecked.
Click Start.
Wait for the installation process is complete.
Your phone will restart when the installation is complete.
Done. You have successfully installed CWM Recovery on your phone.

Now you can use CWM Recovery to use a lot of features from there. And to get the full functionality you have to root your phone after you were installed it. To enter CWM Recovery hold Power button, Home button and Volume up button simultaneously or you can do this by launch it from your ROM Manager app or CWM icon. How to root Samsung Galaxy S3

The root method that we will opt for here will make use of Chainfire’s CF-Root, which is arguably the easiest rooting technique for a huge variety of devices by now. Do understand, however, that while this method is tried and tested, we or the developer cannot take any responsibility for any damage to your device as a result of following these instructions. Proceed at your own risk.

Requirements

Samsung Galaxy S III GT-I9300 (International version) with more than 50% battery remaining, 100% just to be on the safer side of the fence
CF-Root package for Galaxy S3
Odin3 v3.07
Latest Samsung USB drivers (should already be there if you have Kies installed)
Galaxy S3 USB cable for connection
NOTE: IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH YOUR PHONE OR STARTING IT UP, DOWNLOAD AND USE THE cr-root package FOR YOUR PHONE. THIS ONE I USED IS SPECIALLY FOR S3 GT-19300
Procedure
Step 1: Download both Odin3 and CF-Auto Root packages from the link above. Extract the contents of the root package to a location of your choice.
Step 2: Launch Odin3, click the PDA button and select the .tar.md5 file that you extracted from the CF Root package.
Step 3: Make sure that Re-partition is unchecked in Odin3, and that nothing is selected in PIT.
Step 4: Turn off your Galaxy S III and put it in download mode by pressing and holding volume down+power+home at the same time, and then pressing volume up for confirmation.
Step 5: With your device in Download Mode, connect it to the PC using the USB cable. If all went correct, Odin3 will detect the device, indicated by a COM address in the top left corner of Odin3.
Step 6: Double check that the correct PDA file is selected and that re-partition isn’t checked, and hit the Start button to begin flashing the rooted kernel.
Step 7: Once the flash is complete, the phone will reboot and enter recovery mode, automatically initiating the rooting procedure. It will reboot once more.
That’s it – your Galaxy S III GT-I9300 is now rooted on the latest XXEMC2 firmware. Enjoy!

Cyanogenmod 9 Stable Unofficial Rom for Samsung Galaxy Mini or POP GT-S5570

you already know dat your device has to bee rooted and clock work mod recovery installed.

you can check the previous posts to see how root and install clockwork mod.

There are many Galaxy Mini roms out there and developers are trying to make roms better day by day for galaxy mini and there is also unofficial cynogenmod 10 rom available with most of the things working but now a new unofficial cyanogenmod 9 rom is available with all things working can say stable version for galaxy mini....

In this rom:
Camera Fully working
USB tethering fully working
Wifi and Bluetooth fully working. etc

Note: In order to flash cyanogenmod or any custom rom your device must be rooted and must have custom recovery such as clockworkmod installed on it...

Now Follow the STEPS provided below:

1.Download files from below link:
Cyanogenmod 9 from here
Latest Gapps from here

DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK

2.Copy both files to SD card of your device.

3.Reboot your device in Custom Recovery by Pressing and holding Power + Home keytogether..

4.Now in recovery mode select Wipe Data option for fresh installation and Confirm.

5.Now flash the rom by following the process below:

(i) Select Install Zip from SD card
(ii) Then select Choose zip from SD card and then select cm-9-20121110-UNOFFICIAL-tass.zip..
(iii) Confirm the installation and wait for the Rom to be fully installed...

Gapps:
By following the same procdure but selecting gapps file in place of cyanogenmod flash gapps.

How to Install Clockworkmod (CWM) Recovery on Samsung Galaxy Mini / Pop S5570

Important Requirements and Downloads needed before we

start the procedure :

Galaxy Mini / Pop S5570 (Obliviously :D) with 50 % minimum charged
Odin Multi downloader
Tass_v1.ops
tass-recovery-cwm.tar

Procedure to Install Clockworkmod (CWM) Recovery on Samsung Galaxy Mini / Pop S5570 :

Step 1 : Download all the files which download link is given in the requirement section.

Step 2 : Now Extract downloaded file which named "S5570-Odin-Multi-Downloader-v4.38-DoidDict.rar" any where in your PC / Laptop.

Step 3 : Then open Odin Multi downloader v4.38 and choose Tass_v1.ops file by clicking OPS button.

Step 4 : Now choose one package option and click on one packed button and choose "tass-recovery-cwm.tar" which you downloaded.

Step 5 : Check the box "One Package". (Please don't change other settings leave it as it is)

Step 6 : After this done ! Now switch off your Samsung Galaxy Mini / Pop.

Step 7 : Now keep press and hold Volume Down + Home + Power button then you will enter into the downloading mode or download mode.

Step 8 : Now connect Galaxy Mini / Pop with PC or Laptop via USB cable.

Step 9 : When the port number you will be see with yellow background on top left it indicates that your phone is detected successfully ! Now click on Start button.

Step 10 : Now wait approximate 3 to 5 min while Odin is finishing its job and when you she the report of PASS then you can Disconnect your phone from PC / Laptop.
